Drive D: is an internal Flash ROM.  It is programmable using
FLASHUTY.EXE which is installed on the D: drive.  Save a copy of it to
an SRAM card or other storage device BEFORE you fool around with drive
D:.  It's also a good idea to save everything originally on the D: drive
before you mess with it.  And don't mess with the BIOS area or you're

No. If you set up the Ramdisk using RAMDISK.SYS, drive E: and it's
contents will survive when your battery is discharged.
